OUR RETURN POLICY

We want you to love everything you get from The Story Room Collective. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.


ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it — unused, unworn, and with original tags
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

To start a return, contact us at thestoryroomcollective@gmail.com before sending anything back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how to send your package.

DAMAGES & ISSUES

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at thestoryroomcollective@gmail.com with a photo and we will make it right.


NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned: 

  • All books — book purchases are final sale
  • Blind Date with a Book — all mystery book purchases are final sale. That's part of the adventure! 🎁
  • Sale items and gift cards
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Digital products
  • Kindle Cases

If you have questions about whether your specific item is eligible for return, please reach out before purchasing.

Please note that once an item leaves our store we are no longer responsible for it


EXCHANGES

The fastest way to get what you need is to return your eligible item and once the return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement. Contact us at thestoryroomcollective@gmail.com to get started.


REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, contact us at thestoryroomcollective@gmail.com.
